Just for Fun - Programming ideas for you and your staff
Headliners
This is an improv activity for eight to 10 players. Tell the players they are going to create a short story that might be found in a newspaper. Ask one player to give the first line of the story and then stand out on the floor. Then ask another player to give the last line of the story and stand a ways from the first player – this ending line does not have to relate to the first line in any way. Now ask someone to put in a line that might fall in the middle of the story and have this player stand in between the first two players. Each time a line is added go back to the start of the story and have each player repeat their lines on at a time. Now the remainder of the players, one at a time, add a line somewhere between the players standing.
